Quality control
Quality control is of paramount importance to us. The products are checked by our inspector on a daily basis. This is documented in the Fresh Tracker inspection module. By means of Fresh Tracker, the inspection results can easily and directly be used throughout the entire chain so that the traceability of the product can be taken to a higher level.
Sustainability
In order to be progressive in the field of sustainability, we have invested in a cooling installation using the green refrigerant Ammonia. Our ammonia installation is energy efficient, because the heat that is released during the cooling of our cold stores and loading bay is stored in large buffertanks to be used again during the drying process of the celeriac. In addition, the 2555 solar panels on the roof of our building on the Berrie 1 generate green electricity in large numbers.
